Our first group of service technicians are beginning to use their new handheld tablet devices. These devices provide our technicians with important data they can use to be more efficient in the field. They have access to our backend systems as well as service call management software. The technician can collect and retrieve maintenance history on our customer’s equipment, which in turn, allows us to build analytics over time about a customer’s store. They are also alerted to a service call, which means they can respond faster. This technology improves our efficiency so that we can provide better quality and prompt service to our customers.
