All job applicants at Advanced Refrigeration & Air, Inc. will undergo screening for the presence of illegal drugs as a condition for employment.

Any applicant with positive test results will be denied employment at that time.

Applicants will be required to submit to a urinalysis test at a laboratory chosen by the company, and by signing a consent agreement, will release the company from liability.


I freely and voluntarily agree to submit to a urinalysis (drug screen) as part of my application for employment. I understand that either refusal to submit to the urinalysis screen or failure to qualify according to the minimum standards established by Advanced Refrigeration & Air, Inc. for this screen might disqualify me from further consideration for employment.

I further understand that upon commencement of employment with Advanced Refrigeration & Air, Inc., I may again be required to submit to a urinalysis screen. I understand that refusal to take a requested urinalysis screen or failure to meet the minimum standards set for the screen may result in immediate suspension or discharge.

In the event that employment commences prior to Advanced Refrigeration & Air, Inc. receiving the drug test results, I understand that I will be immediately discharged if the result comes back positive.

The Construction Department handles new and remodel installation of refrigeration systems for the supermarket industry. Job locations presently range from Pensacola to Tallahassee, southern Alabama, southern Georgia, Gainesville/Ocala, Orlando, St. Pete, Clearwater, Bradenton and Sarasota.

Requirements for the new hires:

Adhere and follow all safety rules and regulations

  • Read a tape measure
  • Retain and memorize information
  • Able to work on heights above 6 feet, i.e. ladders, aerial equipment, roof
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Follow directions and take directives from managers
  • Team player, punctual, good attitude and self-motivated
  • Adhere to and follow company dress code
  • Flexible to working different shifts (high percentage of night work)
  • Able to work out of town, usually up to four nights
  • Provide transportation to the jobsite or meeting location
  • Able to use powered tools

I understand that no supervisor or representative of Advanced Refrigeration is authorized to make any assurances to the contrary and that no implied oral or written agreements contrary to the foregoing express language are valid unless they are written and signed by the President of Advanced Refrigeration.

I also understand that if I am hired I will be required to provide proof of identity and legal authority to work in the United States and that federal immigration laws require me to complete an I-9 Form.

If a conditional job offer is made, I agree to undergo job-related background checks and perform a drug test and understand that employment is contingent upon meeting Advanced Refrigeration job-related background checks and passing a drug test required by Advanced Refrigeration & Air, Inc.
