We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial/Industrial HVAC Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working independently in the HVAC industry, with a strong focus on light commercial systems. Experience with large commercial and industrial systems is a definite advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently coordinate diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance tasks on commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
  • Order necessary parts and equipment for repairs and maintenance jobs.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and supervisors regarding job status, requirements, and scheduling.
  • Ensure timely completion of work orders and closing out repairs efficiently.
  • Demonstrate dependability, self-motivation, and organizational skills in both customer interactions and paperwork management.
  • Utilize strong troubleshooting skills to self-diagnose and address HVAC system issues.
  • Ability to work with BAS controls, conduct diagnostics and repairs.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work-on call rotation with no supervision
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an HVAC technician, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Experience with gas-fired burner work, boilers, water-cooled units, chillers, and pipe fitting (including sch 40 & 80 PVC, stainless steel, copper, threaded pipe, etc.) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems independently.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills for managing paperwork and job orders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
