We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our team!

As a Commercial Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining various types of commercial refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems including walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, refrigerated display cases, and HVAC units.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, and checking refrigerant levels to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficient operation.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment and make necessary repairs to restore functionality.
  • Conduct inspections of refrigeration equipment to identify potential problems and recommend solutions to improve performance and energy efficiency.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with our services.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on commercial refrigeration systems to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in commercial refrigeration to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work on call rotation.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • EPA Universal Certification for handling refrigerants (required).
  • Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to use specialized tools and equipment for diagnosing and repairing refrigeration equipment.
  • Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and refrigeration principles.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments, including confined spaces and elevated heights.
