We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Pipefitter to join our team specializing in commercial refrigeration!

As a Pipefitter, you will play a crucial role in the installation, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems for commercial refrigeration applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipefitting, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements and identify the layout and installation of piping systems for commercial refrigeration equipment, including walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, and refrigerated display cases.
• Measure and cut using hand and power tools according to project specifications and industry standards.
• Install piping systems, valves, fittings, and fixtures for refrigeration equipment, ensuring proper alignment, support, and sealing to prevent leaks and ensure optimal system performance.
• Assemble and connect piping components using welding, brazing, soldering, or mechanical joining techniques as required.
• Assist in the layout and installation of hanger systems for refrigerant lines, condensate drains, and other plumbing components for commercial refrigeration systems.
• Test piping systems for leaks and pressure losses and make necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a pipefitter with a minimum of 1 year of experience, preferably in commercial refrigeration.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Welding, brazing, soldering, and mechanical joining skills.
• Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, tools, and materials, particularly in commercial refrigeration construction and applications.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments, including confined spaces and elevated heights.
• Must be able to work out of town and nights (weekends off)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
