As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Purchasing Agent to serve our clients.
Provide administrative support to field managers in the form of purchasing materials for the service department.
- Receive emails from field management for material orders
- Complete material request forms and share with warehouse
- Source non-stocked items from vendors using purchase orders
- All POs to be created and entered in PO log
- Coordinate item pickup with warehouse in emergency situations
- Communicate status of each order to person placing the request
- Follow up with vendor on any back ordered items
- Follow up on all returns, incorrect orders until situation is resolved
- Credit any material returns, restocking or returning excess material
- Shop multiple vendors to obtain best pricing
- Complete quote forms for work orders requiring approval
- Backup to construction purchasing agent
- $20-$24 per hour
- Microsoft Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Great Plains
- 1-3 year’s minimum experience with purchasing.
High School Diploma or GED and work experience.
