We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Construction Start-Up Technician specializing in commercial refrigeration!

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that newly installed refrigeration systems are properly commissioned, tested, and calibrated to meet client specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with project managers and install teams to understand project requirements and timelines for new commercial refrigeration installations.
• Conduct pre-start-up inspections of newly installed refrigeration systems to verify that all components are installed correctly and meet design specifications.
• Perform system start-up procedures according to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
• Monitor system performance during start-up procedures and troubleshoot any issues or anomalies that arise, using diagnostic tools and equipment as needed.
• Conduct functional tests and performance evaluations of refrigeration systems to verify proper operation, temperature control, and energy efficiency.
• Document start-up activities, including equipment settings, test results, and any adjustments made, in detailed commissioning reports for client review and approval.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in commercial refrigeration start-up with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, components, and start-up procedures. Including Emerson, CPC, and Danfoss control systems.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and refrigeration principles.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environments as needed.
• Must be able to work out of town and nights (weekends off)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
