Construction Supervisor – Commercial Refrigeration
- Supervise and coordinate activities for supermarket refrigeration projects, including new installations, renovations, and retrofits, from project initiation to completion.
- Provide leadership and direction to construction teams, ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications.
- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand scope of work, project requirements, and scheduling constraints.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, assess quality of workmanship, and identify any issues or obstacles.
- Coordinate with project managers and all trades to procure materials, equipment, and resources needed for construction activities, and ensure timely delivery to job sites.
- Communicate effectively with clients, and all trades to provide project updates, address concerns, and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
- Proven experience as a Supermarket install/Start Up Supervisor or similar role, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction in the commercial refrigeration industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems and equipment; refrigeration piping, fixture setting, pump down and startup of refrigeration systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and all trades.
- Must be able to work out of town and nights (weekends off)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Commercial Refrigeration Technician
- Troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems including walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, refrigerated display cases, and HVAC units.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, and checking refrigerant levels to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficient operation.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment and make necessary repairs to restore functionality.
- Conduct inspections of refrigeration equipment to identify potential problems and recommend solutions to improve performance and energy efficiency.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with our services.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on commercial refrigeration systems to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in commercial refrigeration to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Ability to work on call rotation.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required).
- EPA Universal Certification for handling refrigerants (required).
- Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to use specialized tools and equipment for diagnosing and repairing refrigeration equipment.
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and refrigeration principles.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments, including confined spaces and elevated heights.
